About me

As a kid, I was fascinated with film – how scenes, expressions, or even a single frame could tell a great story and express an idea about the human experience.  Cinematic moments shaped the way I saw the world long before I considered myself a creative.

That fascination eventually led me to acting – first through film, then through theater. Acting gave me an opportunity to understand different human perspectives and explore the human psyche. Acting also exposed me to great plays and the broader world of literature.  The more I read, the more I appreciated the written word and the power of fiction to move hearts and minds.

Eventually, I came to realize these interests were all connected. Whether it is writing or composing a scene through the lens, I enjoy discovering the importance of what lies underneath.
